Watch Flood Lanctot Connor Stablein‘s David Gorcyca on Let it Rip From Fox 2 Detroit
myFOXDetroit.com Staff Report
Just days after her release from jail on the suspicious death of her husband, Laura Johnson talked with FOX 2′s Huel Perkins in an exclusive and emotional tell-all interview about her experience, including the bloody bedding, tissue samples and prescription drugs taken from her home.
Now that exclusive FOX 2 interview is the focus of Thursday night’s Let It Rip.
Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper admits being in “error” when she quickly filed murder and other charges last week against a Farmington Hills widow following the death of her husband.
Cooper told Detroit Free Press writer Brian Dickerson in a column Thursday that she has “egg” on her face after dropping charges Tuesday against 46-year-old Laura Johnson.
Joining Huel Perkins in this week’s edition of Let It Rip Panel are:
Dr. Werner Sptiz – The world-renowned forensic pathologist who recently said, “How do you charge somebody before you have a diagnosis of cause of death? Maybe they know more than I do.”
David Gorcyca- Former Oakland County Prosecutor who has some sharp criticisms for the hasty way in which the case was handled by the prosecution.
Charlie Langton – FOX 2′s legal analyst, who helps dissect the case and explains what could happen next.
