Chris Forsyth to speak to Michigan Planners
Christopher J. Forsyth, a senior associate with Flood Lanctot Connor and Stablein PLLC, will speak at an upcoming Michigan Planners Association meeting in Grand Rapids. The event is scheduled for June 16th. The Michigan Planners Association. The Michigan Association of Planning is an organization dedicated to promoting sound community planning. The Association has a membership of more than 5,300. Eighty percent of its members are citizens appointed to planning commissions and zoning boards of appeals.
Mr. Forsyth serves as City Attorney for the City of Allen Park. Prior to joining FLCS, Mr. Forsyth worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Troy. He represented the City of Troy in zoning and land use disputes, condemnation cases, civil rights claims, personal injury/property damage claims, and other civil cases. He also served as the legal advisor for the City of Troy Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. He also provided legal counsel to the various City Department regarding a wide range of issues. Mr. Forsyth lives in Dearborn where he serves as a member of the Dearborn Planning Commission.
