Mr. Connor began his career as a contract special assistant prosecuting attorney in the Wayne County Prosecutors Office Juvenile Division. In 1997, he became an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, where he worked in the Trial Division, the Out County Division, the Child and Family Abuse Unit, the Homicide Unit and the Special Community Prosecution Unit. Mr. Connor tried over 30 cases to verdict and was responsible for a misdemeanor domestic violence docket that led to thousands of convictions for assaultive abusers each year. He joined FLCS in 2004, where he has handled the defense of dozens of juvenile delinquency cases and has represented and advocated for the rights of both the parents and the children in permanent and temporary custody neglect cases.
