Previous Experience:
Mr. Secontine started in the Oakland County Prosecuter’s Office (OCPO). He advanced through the Warrants and District Court Divisions. He became a docket prosecutor for multiple Circuit Court judges. Mr. Secontine was named Special Prosecutor and was specifically assigned to handle cases through trial that presented the most complex, sensitive or unique facts. After leaving OCPO for five years to work with his father and brother in a long-standing family business, Mr. Secontine returned as Training Coordinator. In addition to the seminars he helped coordinate and conduct, were numerous Homicide Investigation and Child Death Investigation trainings. In 2007 Mr. Secontine was promoted to Executive Staff Attorney. In over 17 years, he conducted more than 100 felony jury trials, approximately 35 involved capital offenses. He joined FLCS in 2009.
