Dear Todd,
Words seem inadequate to describe how thankful I am that my parents and I were referred to you and the Flood Law firm. It has been a long journey this past year, with everything that my family and I experienced during this legal process. However, thanks to God, family, friends, and a great law firm this chapter is now closed. I will never forget this learning experience. Thank you for your words of encouragement and support it truly helped me through the situation.
Over the course of the past year, I wanted to thank you for taking a special interest and concern for my family and myself. Dear Janet (Napp),
I just wanted to personally thank you for helping my family with the appeal. It has been a very difficult ten years with the vortex of destruction that has surrounded us.
I cannot believe what people can get away with for years and how much damage they can cause to everyone they come into contact with including their own children.
We truly found an angel when we found you.
I read your appeal and am so very grateful that you put in all that hard work. It is a wonderful piece of work.
Again, thank you so very much for helping us. I included a picture of all of us that was taken at a baptism in 2008. We happen to have many of this same photo blown up because it is a photo that we had once included in an appeal to reverse F.A.M.E., which we won and the appellate court ordered a change in judges and ordered the old judge to be removed as he was horrible to us over the years. I just thought you should see who you fought for

Thank you for taking time out of your morning to show me around the 36th district court. It was a great honor to spend time learning from you. I enjoyed meeting the various prosecutors and judges. I particularly enjoyed speaking with Judge (omitted for privacy) and hearing about his/her family. His/Her comment about the James Madison college at Michigan State University inspired me to pursue my future education there. Today’s experience has given me a better understanding for the legal system. It would be an incredible experience to internship at your law firm in the future. Dave,
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me and my family. I am so thankful the Judge A and the prosecutor had mercy on me today. A felony does not seem like a big deal especially because it happened 8 years ago, but to me this was the closing to a chapter in my life. The last 8 years of my life have been a roller coaster to say the least, and it came with some very difficult times as well. I am sure today that all the blood, sweat, and tears that have been shed over the years have been worth it. It was very difficult to keep my composure sitting in front of the Judge today, besides I didn’t want Randy thinking I was a wimp. When Judge A spoke the words that the conviction was set aside, I felt a tremendous release.
I just wanted to say that Elizabeth is the most pleasant person I have met in a long time. She made me feel at ease and was very informative and understanding of what lied ahead in the court room. Randy too was very kind and supportive, made me feel at ease knowing he was representing me. Thank you Dave! I am fully aware you all have a very busy schedule and am thankful you took the time to see this through till the end.

We consider you as a God Send to us in our time of need. We were in awe of how quickly and efficiently you responded to our call. It was through our daughter’s friend —- that your firm was recommended. We will gladly recommend you personally John and the Flood Law Firm.
Even though we have been through some court cases before, it is always confusing and scary! You helped us all by answering questions, responding quickly to phone calls, e-mails and in person! By far you have been the best lawyer that we had. You gave us hope, assurance and confidence and explained everything with such patience.
C was a parolee being falsely accused of a felony charge. Thank you for helping us and the case was dismissed without prejudice.
After this case was finished, it bothered us with great concern as to how many people get “caught up in the system.” If C did not have good representation he could have likely been through a long and expensive trial, and we wonder how many people does this happen to? He was treated as guilty because of his felony record without them even questioning him. Had that been someone without a felony record I believe we would have at least been given the opportunity to give our side of the story, instead C was set up to come into his parole office, handcuffed and whisked into the court, and could have been in jail, he was barely given the offense in which they were charging him. They had his address and I wonder why the just didn’t’ come to the house to question him. Any way we wondered if this is any organization that helps pay for legal expenses that we could donate to, that would help someone that is in that same situation. I know there are court appointed lawyers, and in our experience we learned the lesson of not going that route. This has spurned some ideas and we would like your opinion on this only if you choose to.

I would like to make you aware of the outstanding support Miriam Barilovich provided me during my recent severance from my employer. While I understand this was a small case for your firm, it was a major event in my life.
From the first contact with your firm, Miriam was a kind and sympathetic listener. I had initially retained a different lawyer in my dispute, but I never felt like I was anything more that just a file to him. Miriam, on the other hand, took the time to understand who I am and what I believe. Although I was operating under time constraints and had planned a family vacation to Florida, Miriam encouraged me to preserve my plans and continued the dialog via fax and phone while I was in Florida. I will always be thankful I didn’t cancel that great vacation I had with my husband and six-year-old son at Disney and Universal Studios.

Miriam stood by me through all of the minute final details – ultimately making me feel like I could hold my head high during what was a very emotional event for me in leaving my employer of 21 years.
